Rhys Eggleton

The work by this good friend is astonishing. Check his website.

Thassos

Thassos is the emerald isle. I had the most amazing time here, free camping and working for an performing arts collective. Also I love the 70s quality to this map.... check out the symbols and key. Greece rocks!

Plighton

Who lives in a town like this?

Ol' Blighty

This was a very labourious task of Letraset and fine line that I did when I was 9..... no wonder I gave up!

Nnaaarfuk

Here's the Nnaarfuk one again, but this time, the whole thing.

Broadwater

Back from the Felt Tip Era.... I must have had such enjoyment colouring in that forest! There are over 15 separate pieces in this collection.

Jersland

Another little fantasy island of mine.... the inspiration from who knows, but I was only 11!.... but it looks pretty damn beautiful.... i'd go there.

Junction

This is a junction, partly fictitious, but based on real-life roads.... another odd obsession of mine... I did do this when I was 12!

Ivon

Ivon is from the 'Imaginative Island' collection. This was a series that was inspired by the remote islands of the Shetlands, but transformed into my own fantasy islands.

Old School

This was another commission for Jan Michael, same as Dark Horse; but 10 years on, for her 60th. The village of Mendlesham is where I spent the first 3 years of my life, and remains very close to me. Jan Michael is a children's book writer and has written many enchanting stories.

The Dark Horse

The Dark Horse was a commission for a family friend's 50th Birthday party at this remote, authentic and rustic restaurant, where all of my family at some point or another have mucked in. This map was for the purpose of the guest booklet, sent far and wide.

Mumbles

The Mumbles is as I'm sure you all know, an amazing part of the Gower in South Wales, so I hijacked it for my own fictitious land, where rivers flow hard and golden coves allure you in.

East Anglian Boy

Straight from the heart... this map was made for my pure love of Naarfuk.... and if you love East Anglia as much as I do then this Estelle rip-off is an asbo winner....

St Mary's-on-the-River

From the Felt Tip Early Era, this is a fictitious cartographic place inspired by the surrounds of Wrenshall in Suffolk. A happy and influential location of my childhood.

Flog It! and Video It!

If you like you maps interactive then this Grand Tour will do it for you

Floggit!

This was a map commission for BBC1's Floggit! The episode is being published on the 5th March 2010 and can't wait for the afterparty.
The reason for the map is due to severe copywrite issues concerning the use of maps. I was commissioned to make this map for a story about two old spinsters who lived at A La Ronde in Devon who embarked on the Grand Tour through France and Italy in the late seventeenth century. You can check out more on their website.

When you work with children, their artistic flair shines through when drawing maps.... This is France, honest!
